Mr. Fazal Karim Khan is a highly experienced and results-oriented professional with over 18 years of expertise in project design,
implementation, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of complex multisector projects, including civic education, livelihoods, community
development, education, democratic governance, emergency response, and local government initiatives across Pakistan. He has successfully led
projects in conflict-affected areas such as the Newly Merged Districts (NMDs) and Balochistan, with strong capabilities in project cycle
management, logframe and MEL plan development, impact assessments, evaluation and research, data and reporting tools, and capacity building of staff and partners. Mr. Khan has extensive experience working on donor-funded projects, including those by USAID, EU, World Bank, FCDO,
IFAD, and CBM. He has held key roles in organizations such as DAI, Save the Children, and Blumont, and served as an Evaluation Expert with OPM. Additionally, he has held critical M&E roles in the FCDO-funded Mutual Legal Assistance Programme and USAID’s Citizens Voice Project. Mr. Khan
holds master’s degrees in social sciences and English Literature, is fluent in English, Urdu, and Pashto, and possesses a strong understanding of Punjabi, Sindhi, Seraiki, Hindi, and Nepali. His expertise includes developing M&E systems, performance management plans, logframes, theories
of change, and conducting qualitative and quantitative research, making him an invaluable member of the evaluation team.
