Advocacy and Networking

Amplifying Voices. Building Bridges. Advancing Change.

Overview

At FLI, advocacy is rooted in dignity, community wisdom, and cultural continuity. We work alongside local voices—elders, youth, artists, and activists—to shape narratives, influence policy, and foster meaningful partnerships. Our networking efforts connect grassroots movements with national and international allies, ensuring that the stories and struggles of our communities are heard, respected, and acted upon.

Current Campaigns
  1. Reviving Indigenous Poetry
A community-led initiative to document, celebrate, and share the poetic traditions of Northern Pakistan. Through workshops, digital storytelling, and public readings, we’re reclaiming cultural space for indigenous expression.
  2. Youth for Cultural Sustainability
Empowering young leaders to become custodians of their heritage through training, mentorship, and creative platforms.
  3. Gendered Voices in Tradition
Encouraging the role of women in oral traditions and advocating for inclusive cultural policy that honors their contributions.
Policy Engagement

We engage with policymakers, educators, and cultural institutions to advocate for:
